U.K. MIDWEEKS: LOSS WINS
11/11/22

While Taylor Swift maintains the #1 spot at singles, Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss (OVO/Republic) has ended her two-week reign atop the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart.

Her Loss is Savage’s first-ever U.K. #1 album and Drake’s fifth.

Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit’s Palomino (Columbia) is new at #3, while Welsh singer and actor Luke Evans scores a career-best at #4 with A Song For You (BMG).

SMITHEREENS (88rising/Warner Records) from Japanese singer Joji is his third Top 40 album, coming in at #13. Daniel O’Donnell’s I Wish You Well (Demon) ends the week at #16.

A 25th anniversary two-LP edition of The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land (XL) sees it return to the Top 20 for the first time since 1997 at #19.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Swift’s “Anti-Hero” (EMI) has a third consecutive week at the top—her longest-running #1 to date. The track was bolstered this week by a new version featuring Bleachers.

Three tracks from Her Loss are in the Top 10: “Rich Flex” at #3, “Major Distribution” at #5 and “Circo Loco” at #7.

Elsewhere, Meghan Trainor’s viral TikTok hit, “Made You Look” (Epic), rises six to a new peak at #8. Venbee and goddard. score their first Top 10 with “Messy in Heaven” (Sony) rising two to #9; a new remix of the track featuring Brighton rapper ArrDee could boost it further next week.
