THE BALL STREET JOURNAL

It has been a pretty rough start to the winter for the Northeast as parts of Maryland, New York and other states saw significant snowfall for the first time in nearly two years. I am down in Florida, where the temps dropped to under 40, which sends the locals into a panic. And being a Baltimore guy, big congrats to Ravens for making it to the AFC Championship game! They will host the Chiefs this week in Baltimore. One win away from the Super Bowl! Although the temps are still cold, at least the chart is starting to heat up.

Jack Harlow holds at #1 for a third week as other tracks in the Top 10 line up to make their run. RCA’s Lori G and Inca have Victoria Monét’s “On My Mama” (Lovett Music) climbing to #3 this week. They also have Chris Brown’s “Sensational” f/Davido & Lojay entering the Top 15 this week, gaining nearly 400 spins along the way. They are impacting two records this week, Flo Milli’s “Never Lose Me” (’94 Sounds) and Sleepy Hallow’s “ANXIETY” (Winners Circle), which both look to be in the Most Added column this week.

Strazz and Columbia hold down the #22 and #23 spots with Beyoncé’s “MY HOUSE” (Parkwood) and Loui & NLE Choppa’s “No Distractions,” and both records continue to grow. Columbia also impacted Lil Nas X’s “J CHRIST” last week. The track comes in as the highest debut on the chart at #26 after adding 663 spins to his total. It also debuted on the Spotify Global chart this week.

Nino and Interscope welcome JID’s “Surround Sound” f/21 Savage & Baby Tate (DVille) to the Top 10 this week. It scores an increase of 695 spins and shows no signs of slowing down. It’s also Top 15 at Spotify U.S. and Top 10 at both Shazam U.S. and Global.

Over at Republic, Davey Dee continues to drive Drake’s “First Person Shooter” f/J. Cole (OVO) toward the #1 spot. Up 315 spins, the track ends the week at #5. The big story is the success of Nicki Minaj. Her track “Everybody” f/Lil Uzi Vert rockets #12-7 and adds nearly 800 spins to her total, while “FTCU” leaps nine spots to #24 and gains 610 spins. Both singles are streaming extremely well and appear on the Shazam U.S. chart. Meanwhile, Drake’s other track, “You Broke My Heart,” holds at #11 with an increase of 340 spins. And The Weeknd’s “One of the Girls” w/JENNIE & Lily Rose Depp enters the Top 20 this week, thanks to another boost of more than 250 spins. The track is currently #6 on Spotify Global.

Dixie and Capitol continue to build Offset’s “Worth It” f/Don Toliver. This is up another 200 spins and ends the week at #10.

Noah Sheer and Def Jam’s hard work pays off as 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne’s “Transparency” f/Usher joins the Top 15 after picking up 210 spins. The next goal on this one is to reach the Top 10.

Over at Epic, Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson are impacting 21 Savage’s “nee-nah” this week. The single is already perched inside the Top 50. There is another track from the album that is also buzzing, entitled “redrum,” which will impact Urban radio this week and eventually cross over to Rhythm; it’s currently #16 on the Shazam Global chart and #13 U.S.
