ATO singer/songwriter Brandi Carlile just performed "The Eye" on PBS' Tavis Smiley. As Smiley says, her "unique sound is infused with multiple genres, including Country, Folk and Rock." Watch here.

Her sixth studio album, The Firewatcher's Daughter, dropped in March, and you may have noticed that opening track, "Wherever Is Your Heart," was added to President Obama's summer #POTUSPlaylist on Spotify. Talk about some high praise.

The set, an Americana triumph, also received some major love from the likes of Miranda Lambert and John Mayer, who both took to Twitter for shout-outs.

Current single "The Things I Regret" is impacting Triple A and Non-Comm radio now.
