LAUREN THOMAS EARNS VP STRIPES AT SMN

Sony Music Nashville has upped Lauren “LT” Thomas to VP of National Promotion. The announcement comes from SMN’s EVP of Promotion and Artist Development Steve Hodges, who Thomas will work in tandem with in addition to promotion teams at Arista, Columbia and RCA Nashville.

In her new position, Thomas continues to be based in Nashville and will focus on national strategies to achieve the label group’s airplay and artist development goals.

“Watching someone’s hard work and dedication to their craft rise to fruition is an absolute joy. To be able to award LT her VP stripes is an honor. She embodies the true spirit of innovation in challenging times. I could not be more proud of her accomplishments,” shares Hodges.

Thomas joined SMN in 2009 as National Promotion Coordinator for Arista Nashville and was promoted to Regional Promotion Manager within a year. Most recently, she served as Director of Promotion for SMN. In addition to her work, Thomas serves on the advisory committee of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
