Morgan Wallen announced on Thursday evening that he will host a concert benefiting the victims of recent floods and storms in Middle Tennessee. The acoustic show, "Morgan Wallen And Friends," is 9/8 at Nashville's Marathon Music Works.
The event is already sold out, but donations can be made here. Proceeds from the evening will benefit The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund, immediately assisting victims of the recent severe storms and flooding in Humphreys County and other parts of Middle Tennessee.
The Big Loud/Republic star posted on Instagram on 9/2, asking fans that are unable to attend to donate: “I have been touched and heartbroken by the stories I’ve heard from the recent flooding and it’s impact in Middle Tennessee. Wanted to do my part to help. Proud that this is my first official show in such a long time. Hope you guys can make it on such short notice. Tickets on sale immediately.”
