Broken Bow Records’ Brooke Eden recently joined Congressman David Cicilline, Chair of the Congressional LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus, for a conversation surrounding LGBTQ+ equality and representation.

As part of Eden’s Music Matters with RIAA partnership, the Pride panel was moderated by RIAA’s VP of Federal Public Policy Tom Clees and saw Eden and Congressman Cicilline discuss issues around the arts, representation in society and government, work they’re doing in their respective fields to further the conversation and more.

Additionally, Eden shared the message behind her track “Left You for Me” from her upcoming EP, Choosing You, which drops on 7/29. Earlier this month, she debuted the track at CMA Fest before putting on a performance at the official Pride Pit Stop Presented by Soap & Glory in N.Y., as well as N.Y.’s Pride March and on NBC’s Today show.

“Bringing Brooke’s powerful story out into the community and connecting artists and policymakers for authentic, honest moments is the perfect way to celebrate Pride and allow the worlds of music and politics to learn and grow together,” said Jackie Jones, VP, Artist and Industry Relations, RIAA.
