CLIMBING MOUNTAINS: Republic’s Of Monsters and Men played their two alternative smashes, “Little Talks” and “Mountain Sound,” on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, which sent their album, My Head is an Animal, as high as #3 this morning (it's now at #4) on iTunes. The record has been out just over a year and has sold 766k. Can they be in line for a Grammy "Best New Artist" nod? It would most certainly be deserved. (5/6p)
