New Bruno single, video hyped

GRAMMY FEVER, HEARTBREAK EDITION: Can’t wait for Bruno Mars Grammy performance with Sting and Rihanna, which has occasioned so much breathless chatter? This brand-new video for “When I Was Your Man” should further whet your appetite. It’s just the chart-topping singer/songwriter and his piano, but clearly fans (to whom he tweeted the clip yesterday) don’t require anything more. The achingly romantic ballad has zoomed to #5 at iTunes (with nearly 440k sold as of this writing) and is on the cusp of the Top 20 at Pop radio, giving his album Unorthodox Jukebox yet another retail spike. Jukebox is the top-selling non-debut this week; the Grammys and Valentine’s Day are likely to further fuel its impressive run. (2/6a)
