BILLIE AND FINNEAS DISCUSS WRITING "NO TIME TO DIE" WITH BBC

Billie Eilish and her brother/co-writer/producer FINNEAS stopped by BBC Breakfast in London ahead of their appearance on the BRIT Awards 2/18, to discuss with host Louise Minchin their writing of the new Bond theme "No Time To Die."

“We wrote and recorded the Bond song on a tour bus in Texas,” FINNEAS said.

Eilish added that they had a bad day trying to write the song in a studio, saying, “We had an intense amount of writers’ block as soon as we were called to action.” Eilish also said that the pair had been wanting to make a Bond song for years.

“We really did not take the opportunity lightly, and just tried to work as hard as we could to prove ourselves worthy of that,” added FINNEAS, explaining that they did some research on past Bond themes while writing this one.

Eilish also expressed being nervous about belting out the high note in the song during its first-ever performance on the BRITs later that evening, which, in hindsight, she handled expertly. Peep the interview below:
