FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

There are 20 tracks on the new BTS album. Those songs fill up the Top 20 at iTunes songs while the album sits at #1 at iTunes this flipover Friday. Talk about domination.

Map of the Soul: 7 (Big Hit/Columbia), which includes five songs from their last album, sits at #1 at iTunes though it has yet to make a mark at Apple Music. The top two songs are BTS’ “ON”; the version with Sia is #2. The logjam means Selena Gomez’s new one, “Feel Me” (Interscope) occupies #21.

Back at albums, Ozzy Osbourne’s Ordinary Man pulls in at #2 just days after he canceled his entire 2020 tour. The Amity Affliction’s seventh album, Everyone Loves You…Once You Leave Them (Pure Noise), sits at #3 followed by Royce da 5’9” with The Allegory (eOne) at #4.

GrimesMiss Anthropocene (4AD) occupies two slots—#6 and #8—ahead of Pat Metheny’s first studio album in six years, From This Place (Nonesuch) at #9.

With just three tracks released, The Weeknd’s After Hours (XO/Republic) occupies slots #7 and #9 at Apple Music albums; “After Hours” is #2 at songs.
