PEARL JAM REBOOKS HYDE PARK GIG FOR 2021

Pearl Jam has added two dates to the middle of their European tour next year, headlining the BST Hyde Park Festival in London on 7/9 and 10.

The performance is their only one in the U.K. Pixies will open the Friday show; Idles, who have the #1 album in the U.K. this week, are on Saturday’s bill.

Pearl Jam had been scheduled to headline this year’s festival, and people with tickets will be given priority to rebook for the 2021 dates.

“Pearl Jam jumped at the chance to celebrate after having to cancel their show this year and we are honored that they agreed to play two consecutive night, a first for BST,” said Jim King, CEO of European Festivals at AEG Presents.

Pre-sale for tickets begins Tuesday for American Express cardholders. Ticketholders for the canceled 2020 event can repurchase beginning on Thursday. General onsale starts 10/10.

Next year’s festival will also see the introduction of the Hard Rock Stage, celebrating the burger joint’s 50th anniversary.
