Those of you “working from home” on the course at Riviera Country Club—a private facility in the Los Angeles-area community of Pacific Palisades—may have noticed some good old-fashioned viral marketing, with the title of Lana Del Rey’s new album, Chemtrails Over the Country Club (Interscope), written in the azure sky above.

Del Rey’s seventh album garnered more than 10m streams on Spotify its first day of release, the largest number in 2021 for a female artist. Barely 24 hours later, Del Rey announced the 6/1 release of her next album, Rock Candy Sweet, so keep your eye on the sky, or a parking space at the Brentwood Country Mart.
