GRAMMYS ON THE HILL GOING LIVE IN D.C.

The Recording Academy will resume live and in-person activities with the Grammys on the Hill Awards in D.C. on 9/22.

Grammys on the Hill is an annual celebration of music and policy, bringing together congressional leaders and music creators to recognize the power of advocacy and continue the fight for creators' rights.

The awards, given out at The Hamilton, will honor two congressional leaders for their contributions to the creative community as well as an artist for their commitment to advancing music initiatives.

"The Recording Academy and our members continued to advocate for advancements in music policy and crucial support for creators during the COVID crisis. We did this in a completely new way—virtually," said Harvey Mason Jr., Chair and Interim President/CEO of the Recording Academy. "The return of live music, gigs and touring is on the horizon, and we are eager to bring music back to Washington and celebrate the accomplishments of the last 20 years with our congressional allies. It's a score worth singing and celebrating."

A formal invitation and full event, health and safety details will be announced this summer.
