U.K. CHARTS: ADELE SCORES ANOTHER DOUBLE

Adele has scored the U.K.’s Official Charts double for a second week in a row with 30 (Columbia) and “Easy on Me.” Westlife and Gary Barlow are new entries in the albums Top 5.

30 clocked 102k in sales over the last seven days, with 81% of that total made up of physical and digital downloads.

Westlife’s Wild Dreams (East West/Rhino), at #2, marks its 14th Top 5 album, while Barlow’s The Dream of Christmas (Polydor), at #5, scores him a fifth Top 10 as a solo artist.

Michael Bublé’s Christmas (Reprise) rises 11 spots to #6, just ahead of Rod Stewart’s The Tears of Hercules (Warner Records), at #7.

The BeatlesLet It Be (Apple Corps) soars 41 places to #22 following the release of Peter Jackson’s three-part Disney+ documentary, The Beatles: Get Back, about the making of the album. The band’s hits collection 1 is up 20 to #37.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, “Easy on Me” scored 69k in sales this week, including 8.4m streams, for its seventh consecutive week at #1. The track could have competition in the coming weeks from a new star, however, as Gayle’s first U.K. Top 40 entry, “Abcdefu” (Atlantic), vaults 12 places to #2.

Two festive beacons return to the Top 10 this week: Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” (Sony) is up 21 to #3 and “Last Christmas” (Sony) by Wham! jumps 24 places to #4.

Elsewhere, Sam Fender’s “Seventeen Going Under” (Polydor) reaches a new peak at #8.
