QC BRINGS IN A BALLER FOR BRANDING

Quality Control has added Lauren Walsh as Executive Vice President of Branding and Marketing at Solid Foundation Management, the management-services arm of QC.

With more than 20 years of experience in the world of brand strategy and sports marketing, Walsh has worked with an array of NFL, NBA and MLB players in negotiating deals with brands and handling crisis management for high-profile players.

“Lauren has a strong passion for giving back to the next generation of young men and women who want to build successful long-term careers in sports and entertainment,” said Quality Control Co-Founder Pierre “P” Thomas. “Her passion for aligning talent with high-quality brands that share their values perfectly aligns with the principles that are the foundation of Quality Control.”

Prior to joining Quality Control, Walsh ran her own boutique branding and marketing agency, where she developed and monetized personal brands for such athletes as Myles Garrett, Kirk Cousins and Terrell Owens.

She is also the creator of Branding 101, an interactive program to help student athletes understand how to harness and build their own personal brands. Her program has been taught at a wide array of colleges and universities, among them Purdue, Pepperdine and SMU.
