Walt Disney’s Encanto soundtrack looks like it’s headed for #1 on this Friday’s HITS Top 50, the first of 2022. Released on Disney+ a mere month after its theatrical debut, the soundtrack generated 7.4k its first week.

Translated from Spanish, "encanto" means "charm," and that’s exactly what the film did last week, resulting in the album's leap into the Top 10. This week, the soundtrack album is poised to unseat Adele’s mighty 30 (Columbia), which has held the top spot for the past six weeks.
