Primary Wave Music has struck a multimillion-dollar deal with Julian Casablancas, lead singer of The Strokes, acquiring a stake in Casablancas’ share of music publishing on all Strokes compositions as well as his share of master copyrights and master royalties.

Said Primary Wave partner David Weitzman, "Julian’s extraordinary talents as a songwriter, singer and leader infuse the magic that is The Strokes. The band is beloved by a multigenerational audience who've made them a global festival headliner.”
