FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES & APPLE MUSIC
Rod Wave’s fourth studio album, Beautiful Mind (Alamo), soars straight to the top of Apple Music’s albums chart, while “Alone” leads the way at songs this Flipover Friday.
“Alone” has company at Apple Music songs thanks to three other Beautiful Mind tracks in the Top. 20: “Stone Rolling,” “Yungen” f/Jack Harlow and “Never Get Over Me.” The album is #6 at iTunes.
The only other new arrival making a run at both sales and streams is Megan Thee Stallion’s surprise Thursday release Traumazine (1501/300); it’s #11 at iTunes and #7 at Apple Music. Also making a move on the streaming chart is Young Nudy’s mixtape EA Monster (PDE/RCA), which was released earlier in the week; it’s #5.
At iTunes, an all-new Top 8 begins with Arch Enemy's Deceivers (Savage Messiah/Territory to Century) at #1, followed by Danger Mouse & Black Thought’s Cheat Codes (BMG) at #2.
Drake Milligan’s five-song self-titled EP (This Is Hit/BBR) comes in at #3 as two of his songs luxuriate in the Top 5; “Kiss Goodbye All Night” is #2 and “Sounds Like Something I’d Do” #5.
The Goo Goo Dolls’ 13th studio album, Chaos in Bloom (Warner), sprouts at #4; Hollywood Undead’s Hotel Kalifornia (BMG) checks in at #5; Maddie Zahm’s You Might Not Like Her (Dollgirl/AWAL) befriends #7; and Collective Soul’s Vibrating (Fuzze-Flex) buzzes in at #8.
iTunes songs has a new #1: Nicky Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” (YMCM/Republic).
