Columbia's Andrew John Hozier-Byrne—better known mononymously as Hozier—is making noise again as new track "Eat Your Young" chomps its way to #6 on the Spotify U.S. Top 50.
The Irish troubadour dropped a new EP, Eat Your Young, on St. Patrick's Day (3/17), which also happened to be his 33rd birthday. The other two songs on the EP—"All Things End" and "Through Me (The Flood)"—landed at #45 and #68, respectively. "Eat Your Young" has also entered the Top 10 at iTunes.
Hozier released his self-titled debut in 2014, and breakout hit "Take Me to Church" was just certified diamond (see Related Stories below). Hozier was deemed triple platinum in the U.S. and sextuple platinum in Ireland.
Now, if you'll excuse us, there are some leftover green beers awaiting our attention. Slainte!
