ANNA DESALU BRINGS THE NOIZE!

Blac Noize!, in partnership with Big Machine Label Group and SB Projects, welcomes Anna Desalu as VP, Commerce and Sales. She'll lead streaming initiatives for the Blac Noize! artist roster and be responsible for driving streaming consumption, cultivating digital partnerships and editorial placement. She'll be based in New York City and report to Blac Noize! co-founder Chioke “Stretch” McCoy.

“Anna brings unparalleled instincts and relationships to the table,” McCoy said. “We’re excited for her to help guide our artists to global success across all platforms.”

Having once been an intern at MTV Networks and later spending some time at Capitol Records, Desalu has more than a decade of music-marketing experience. She joins Blac Noize! from Asylum Records, where she served as director of Sales and Commerce. During her tenure there, she bolstered the streaming presence of artists like Wiz Khalifa, Girl Talk and Yella Beezy. Other notable artists Desalu has worked with include Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe, Tyga, Anthony Hamilton, Fantasia and Lil Dicky.

BMLG and Blac Noize! announced their joint venture last year. Since then, they've seen success with GloRilla and Hitkidd’s “F.N.F (Let’s Go)” and Hitkidd's follow-up single, “Shabooya” f/Gloss Up, K Carbon, Slimeroni and Aleza. Desalu looks forward to sending our emails to spam.
