UMG’s contract-renewal negotiations with TikTok have ended without an agreement, meaning it’s now nearly “nuclear option” time. As a result of the stalled talks, the leading music group—including UMPG—will cease licensing music to the platform. The current deal expired Wednesday (1/31).
