FAMILY AFFAIR: STRENGTH OF A WOMAN FEST HEADS TO NYC

Mary J. Blige and Pepsi, in partnership with Live Nation Urban, will hold the third annual Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit 5/10-12 in the "Family Affair" singer's hometown of New York City.

The three-day event begins at the Apollo Theater with a comedy show featuring Tiffany Haddish, Don’t Call Me White Girl and Paris Sashay and a performance at the Blue Note by Robert Glasper.

On Saturday (5/11), Angie Martinez hosts the "Strength of a Woman Summit" at The Glasshouse before the party moves to Brooklyn's Barclays Center for a concert featuring Blige, Muni Long, Jill Scott, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Lola Brooke and Funk Flex.

The festival wraps up on Sunday (5/12) with a brunch at the Brooklyn Chophouse hosted by Blige and later, a gospel show headlined by the Clark Sisters at Brooklyn Paramount.

The general on-sale for Strength of a Woman tickets begins Friday (3/8) at 10am ET. Head here for the full schedule and tix. Coincidentally, this marks the third year we've been asked not to get it crunk.
