BLACK CROWES CLICK WITH AMAZON MUSIC'S "CITY SESSIONS"

Amazon Music has tapped The Black Crowes for a special "City Sessions" performance on 3/15 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. The concert coincides with the release of Happiness Bastards, the Mark DiDia-managed group's first album in 15 years. The performance will include new songs as well as classics like "Hard to Handle," "Remedy" and "She Talks to Angels."

A limited number of tickets are available via AXS for fans in New York to purchase. Those unable to attend in person will be able to tune in to the performance at 9 p.m. ET on Amazon Music's Twitch channel.

Produced by Grammy-winning producer Jay Joyce, Happiness Bastards serves as The Black Crowes’ 10th studio album. Ahead of the show, Amazon Music subscribers can listen to 1972, a tribute EP curated by The Black Crowes. The six-track collection celebrates the 50th anniversary of some of the best rock 'n roll during its prime, including David Bowie's "Moonage Daydream" and The Temptations' "Papa Was a Rollin' Stone." Find the playlist here. We hear the new album was actually named after us—sans the "happiness" part.
