CAA PROMOTES A TRIO IN LONDON, NASHVILLE

CAA has promoted London-based Lola Castillo Murphy and Hugh Parsons and Nashville-based Matthew Rutledge to agents in its music department.

Murphy got her starts as an intern with UTA in 2014 and joined CAA the following year as a general department assistant, where she worked with top agents such as Emma Banks, Mike Greek and Rebecca Nichols. She was promoted to Coordinator in 2022.

Parsons joined the business in 2016 as a member of the Island Records marketing time and came to CAA the following year as an assistant to Laura Newton. He was promoted to Coordinator in 2023.

Rutledge worked with The Agency Coalition and the Agency for the Performing Arts prior to starting as an assistant to CAA's Brian Waymire in 2021. Last year, he was promoted to Booking Professional in the agency's County Fairs and Festivals division.

Murphy and Parsons both participated in CAA's Elevate program, which offers a next-generation training and practical-development curriculum for aspiring professionals. We hope they won't delete all future emails from HITS after reading this article.
