WMG SOCIAL JUSTICE FUND TO AID 19 ORGS

The Warner Music Group/Blavatnik Family Foundation Social Justice Fund has announced 19 new grantee partners, to whom it will provide more than $5m in grants.

The selections will further The Fund's mission to advance social and racial justice through capacity-building and community-building at the intersection of arts and culture, education and criminal justice reform. It had distributed more than $35m to these organizations in recent years.

"We are so proud to be partnering with these organizations, all of which are doing tremendous work to drive institutional change," said Fund president Camille Hackney, who also serves as Chief Partnerships Office at Atlantic Records and Head of Global Brand Partnerships at WMG. "These grantee partners represent the different facets of the Fund’s mission. Our long-term commitment to helping advance diversity and equity in the music industry is exemplified in our ongoing partnership with Gender Amplified, while new grantee partners like Pop Culture Collaborative and Flamboyan Foundation embody our goal to continuously find fresh voices in the social justice space through organizations creating transformation in education, criminal justice reform and, of course, arts and culture."

The new grant partners include:
