Troy Carter and Suzy Ryoo’s Venice Music is launching an industry-first AI-powered music-career assistant.
Dubbed Co-Manager, the tool offers personalized recommendations based on metadata and release details, advanced streaming and listener analytics and revenue/royalty breakdowns. From this information, it is able to generate custom release strategies, identify promotional opportunities and track the performance of music distributed through the Venice Music platform.
Co-Manager can help artists plan a release campaign using past data to guide promotion, identify top genre playlists and their curators for DSP pitching, provide customized tips based on YouTube channel analytics and assist with ad campaigns based on specific budget and project goals.
This functionality could prove particularly useful for up-and-coming acts, many of whom are interfacing with the business side of the industry for the first time and may not yet be on the radar of management or PR companies.
"For today’s artists, wearing multiple hats isn’t just common; it's necessary,” said Venice Music co-founder and CEO Carter. “We created a tool that allows every artist in the world access to personalized guidance. Having a day-to-day manager is finally democratized."
Added Venice co-founder/president Ryoo, "AI will undoubtedly change how we work and live every day. That said, music never dies and human artistry is irreplaceable. Co-Manager is designed to educate artists on the business and marketing of music so artists can spend more time focused on their creative vision.”
Artists can gain access to Co-Manager with a Venice Pro Membership.
