POST MALONE, STAR DUETS ENLIVEN ACM PERFORMERS LIST

The 59th Academy of Country Music Awards has added high-wattage star power to its roster of performers, including Post Malone, Parker McCollum and duets between Kelsea Ballerini and Noah Kahan, Nate Smith and Avril Lavigne and married duo Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.

Set for 5/16 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and hosted by Reba McEntire, the ACMs will also boast previously announced performances from Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson. The dick clark productions event will stream live on Prime Video beginning at 5pm ET.

For Post Malone (pictured), the booking signals further inroads in the Nashville community, where he recorded his upcoming, country-flavored album. The artist's new collaboration with country hitmaker Morgan Wallen, "I Had Some Help," will be released on Friday (5/10).

Luke Combs (eight), Wallen and Megan Moroney (six each) lead the overall nominations, while Johnson, Stapleton and Wilson have five apiece.
