U.K. MIDWEEKS: JADE VS. JIMIN

Little Mix member JADE (pictured) and BTS member Jimin are competing for the highest new entry on this week's Official Singles Chart. Sabrina Carpenter is likely to replace herself at #1 for the second time this year, with “Please Please Please” (Island) predicted to return to the top spot.

The first solo single from JADE, “Angel of My Dreams” (RCA), is today’s highest new entry at #2. Jimin is less than 100 in chart sales behind with “WHO” (BIGHIT) for #3.

“Stargazing” (RCA) by Myles Smith could jump two to #5, while “Kisses” (Warner Music U.K.) by Bl3ss, CamrinWatsin & Bbyclose is fixin' to surge into the Top 20 at #16.

Following their headlining show at BST Hyde Park last week, Stray Kids could have their first Top 20 single with “Chk Chk Boom” (JYP Entertainment), at #20.

Meanwhile, Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) (Interscope) remains at #1 on the midweek album chart, but Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS (Geffen) is less than 200 in sales behind at #2 following the physical release of its (spilled) edition.

SOFT PLAY—the British punk duo formerly known as Slaves—could claim this week’s highest new album entry, with Heavy Jelly (BMG) at #3.

Glass Animals' fourth set, I Love You So F***ing Much (Polydor), starts at #4. Rock veterans Deep Purple could score its 12th Top 10 album with =1 (earMUSIC), at #6 midweek.

Welsh indie outfit Los Campesinos! are on track for their first Top 10 with All Hell (Heart Swells), #10, while London rapper Morrison begins at #11 with his debut, British Trap Royalty (NQ Records).
