WCM INKS CROMO X
1/13/22

Warner Chappell Music’s U.S. Latin division has partnered with Foundation Media Parnters to ink multi-platinum songwriter/producer/artist Cromo X, neé Martin Rodríguez, to a global co-publishing deal.

The Dominican Republic talent has been behind hits like Bryant Myers’ 2x platinum “Gan-Ga” and platinum-certified “Tanta Falta,” as well as Becky G & Leslie Grace’s 2x platinum “Díganle.” He also contributed to Anuel AA’s 6x platinum 2020 album, Emmanuel, which debuted at #1 on the U.S. Top Latin Albums chart.

“Cromo is a standout talent who puts his own unique spin on everything he touches and infuses new sounds into his productions,” said Lazaro Hernandez, VP, A&R, U.S. & Latin America, WCM. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to Warner Chappell, and we're ready for what’s in store for his future.”

“I’m happy with this new stage in my career with the Warner Chappell family! The best is yet to come with all the music I have saved and what remains to be done,” added Cromo.

“Cromo is one of those rare superstars that doesn’t come around often,” added Foundation Media Partners’ President of the Latin Division, Paul Vasquez and COO, Harvey Russell.

Como’s credits also include writing and producing for artists like Ozuna, Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, Farruko, Yande and more, while he’s also been featured as an artist on tracks from C. Tangana (“Traicionero”), Brytiago & Jon Z (“Crush”) and Myers & La Insuperable (“La Para”).

Alongside Raul Lopez, Cromo is the co-founder of MVP X Records.
