Godzilla and Kong continued their reign over the box office, pushing the gross of The New Empire to more than $132m domestically and $361m globally.

Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment’s Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire held the top slot in the U.S. with an estimated $31.7m in its second weekend, besting two newcomers: Dev Patel’s directorial debut, Monkey Man ($10.1m), and the Disney/20th Century prequel The First Omen ($8.4).
