Michael Bublé claims his fifth U.K. #1 album with Higher (Reprise) while Dave’s “Starlight” (NBR) sets a new record on the Official U.K. Singles chart.
Machine Gun Kelly’s mainstream sellout (Bad Boy/ Interscope/Polydor) finished in a close second place, just 210 sales behind Higher. At #3, Placebo’s Never Let Me Go (So Recordings) is the group’s highest-charting album to date, beating the #5 peak their self-titled debut reached in 1996.
Following the death of Taylor Hawkins, Foo Fighters’ Greatest Hits (Roswell Records) has risen 71 places to #5.
Elsewhere in the Top 10, former Bros member Matt Goss is new at #7 with The Beautiful Unknown (Lewisham Records), while Koffee’s debut, Gifted (Columbia), charts at #9.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, with four weeks now at the top, Dave’s “Starlight” is the longest-running #1 solo U.K. rap single in chart history. The track racked up 6.8m streams this week, holding off fierce competition from Aitch f/Ashanti’s “Baby” (Capitol), which holds at #2.
Cat Burns continues to make gains with breakthrough hit “Go” (RCA) rising two to a new peak at #6, while Camila Cabello and Ed Sheeran’s “Bam Bam” (Epic) ascends six to #10 following the duo’s performance at this week’s Concert for Ukraine.
Tiesto and Ava Max’s “The Motto” (Atlantic) is up one to #12, and Liilz and ZieZie’s “Glad U Came” (Robots & Humans) reaches a new peak at #15.
