TASTE OF HOPE: A CHARD RAIN'S GONNA FALL

Biz bigwigs assembled at Tribeca Three Sixty in NYC on 4/4 for City of Hope's 16th annual Taste of Hope benefit. Event founder and iHeartMedia EVP Alissa Pollack was among the event's chairs, as were L.A. Reid, Dave Dyer, Greg Thompson, Richard Palmese, Peter Gray and Steve Bartels. A portion of the funds raised will go to the Jason Pollack Memorial Fund at Musicians on Call. And now that we've dispensed with the formalities, let's uncork some photos.

Columbia's Jim Burruss, HITS' Leisa St. John and RECORDS' John Strazza
learned that French vintners don't actually use the term "giggle juice."

Z100's Maxwell, DJ Pupdawg, iHeart's Alissa Pollack, Strazza, Dave Dyer and Warner's Josh Reich
wondered how many interns would be required to stomp the grapes for the next harvest.

WXKS's Dylan Sprague, HITS' Leisa St. John, Virgin's Marni Halpern, iHeart's Thea Mitchell and
RCA's Keith Rothschild wondered if they could popularize the phrase "getting one's grenache on."

Promo legend Richard Palmese, Pollack and Lana Palmese noted that, having appeared in
614 of these wine photos in HITS, they're at least entitled to a free bottle of something.

SiriusXM's Rida Naser, Republic's Lucas Romeo, HITS' Leisa St. John and WIHT's Rob Kruz
found the Malvasia Bianca "quaffable" with notes of "can't stand up."

Shinedown's Brent Smith, Pollack, iHeart's Tom Poleman and Louise Lombard
agreed that rock is back, and so is Chenin Blanc.

Halpern
, iHeart's Marc Chase and St. John remembered when programmers were asked to perform PR stunts
like jumping naked into a wading pool filled with Merlot. In these more enlightened times, it would more likely be Tempranillo.
