UTA SWINGS THE PENDULUM
WITH A KNIFE PARTY
8/21/19

United Talent Agency has recently signed electronic musicians Pendulum and Knife Party for North American and Canadian representation. Pendulum/Knife Party frontman Rob Swire brings his artist projects exclusively to UTA starting this summer.

Drum-and-bass trio Pendulum will play the U.K.’s largest electronic music festival, South West Four, on Sunday (8/25) with their new show, Pendulum Trinity, and will feature new music from their upcoming EP, set for release later in 2019. The performance also kicks off their Trinity World Tour and marks their first show in over a decade with the band’s original three members, consisting of Swire, Gareth McGrillen, and Paul Harding, outside of their native Australia.

The signing also coincides with Knife Party’s release of their new EP Lost Souls, the first in almost four years from Swire and McGrillen. The EP includes the Zane Lowe praised single “Death & Desire” featuring Harrison, as well as “No Saint,” “Ghost Train,” and “Lost Souls.” Swire and McGrillen have also launched the Knifecast podcast, with guests that have included Jauz, Sub Focus, Kill The Noise, and Tom Morello, among others.

Pendulum and Knife Party are both repped by Decade Management. Pendulum’s Trinity World Tour will include shows across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia through 2020.
