Singer/songwriter YDE has dropped single “BlindLife” via Facet and Warner; the track is co-written with acclaimed songwriter/Facet co-head Justin Tranter and Grammy-winning duo Mattman & Robin.
In what she calls "my end-of-the-world anthem"—a searing commentary on the chaos and turbulence of 2020—the 17-year-old addresses racial injustice, climate change and more. Intertwining police sirens with a funky bass line, the urgent, grooving track follows YDE’s debut, “Stopped Buying Diamonds,” which dropped earlier this year.
Stream “BlindLife” below and stay tuned for more music in the new year.
