WHAT IT IS: Straight of high school, Kendra Jae burst onto the scene as a professional dancer, becoming the youngest performer on Beyoncé’s 2016 Formation World Tour at just 16. Since then, she’s hit the road with Drake on his 2018 Aubrey and the Three Migos World Tour, shared the stage with Gwen Stefani and Dua Lipa and has been featured in videos with Chloe x Halle and Saweetie. In 2020, the Sacramento-born, L.A.-based up-and-comer dropped her debut single, “Per$ona.” The hip-hop/R&B songstress set the tone for her forthcoming debut EP with her latest offering, “BIG.” Showcasing gritty rhymes and sultry vocals over a heavy-hitting hip-hop beat, the track follows her breakthrough single “Seesaw” f/Saweetie, which has garnered 2m+ streams RTD and is currently climbing the charts at Urban and Rhythm radio.
