MEASURE OF MUSIC SETS DATES
12/20/21

Measure of Music—the free global music data & analytics conference and workshop—will return next year.

Curated by Christine Osazuwa, the event takes place from 2/25-27 and fosters innovation and equity with the data sector of the music business.

Featuring a hackathon, access to various platforms and their APIs, startup pitches and more, 2022’s hybrid edition will include optional in-person participation in addition to the virtual programming and will hold conversations on artist marketing, creator independence, music creation & curation, fan engagement and more.

Keynote speakers for the event include FANMADE CEO Olivia Rudensky, COO Jaime Bilotti and CCO Claudia Villarreal among other yet-to-be announced speakers. Presenting sponsors include Audiense, Feed Media Groupand POWER UP: managed by PRS Foundation with support from jump.global, Musiio, The Digilogue and FANMADE.

“I created Measure of Music so participants got to see more people that look like them on the virtual stage talking about music, tech and data – young people, people of color, women, immigrants, members of the LGBTQ+ community,” said Osazuwa. “I'm continuously trying to find more ways to foster this community and give back any way I can.”

Measure of Music’s inaugural event took place in 2021 across 12 time zones and 20+ countries with more than 900 spectators, 70 participants, 30 speakers, 20 judges and more.
