WHAT IT IS: From his unflinchingly honest lyrics to his hand-drawn artwork, 20-year-old Benson Boone likes to keep it authentic, and that’s evident in his major-label debut single, “GHOST TOWN.” The poignant ballad, enlivened by drums, guitar and piano all played by Boone, showcase the budding singer/songwriter’s soaring vocals and emotive delivery.
